The XP ORX is built on the same technology as the XP Deus, with an included MI-6 pinpointer that connects directly to the ORX controller, routing audio through your headphones and adding control options through the ORX remote.

Preset Programs

The ORX has a simple menu with 4 factory presets — 2 for gold prospecting and 2 for coin detecting — accessed with a single button press:

• Gold: For low to average mineralization, good sensitivity to medium and large gold
• Fine Gold: For heavy mineralization, good sensitivity to small and medium gold
• Coin Fast and Coin Deep modes
• 2 additional slots for user-defined custom programs

Frequency Range

21 frequencies from 13–59 kHz — this high-frequency coil is suited to small, low-conductivity targets.

Target Response

The ORX is a fast, selective detector aimed at locating good targets close to junk that other detectors may miss.

Weight and Build

At 1 lb 14 oz (870g), the ORX uses the patented XP LITE stem, combining the advantages of an S-shaped stem and a straight telescopic stem — fold or deploy in seconds, and change coils quickly.

Wireless System

The ORX uses a fully wireless digital radio link — LCD remote display, headphones, and the optional MI-6 pinpointer all communicate wirelessly, with no cables to manage.
