Minelab GPX 6000: Pulse Induction Gold Detector
The GPX 6000 is Minelab's lightweight, high-sensitivity option in the PI gold-detecting lineup — built on GeoSense-PI™ technology aimed at finding both fine gold and larger nuggets in the mineralized ground typical of Canadian goldfields.
Ground Handling
Two ground search modes (Difficult and Normal) plus automatic or manual ground balance let you adjust to changing conditions without stopping to dig into menus. EMI Cancel and Conductive Ground Cancel modes help manage electrical interference and mineralized ground separately.
Sensitivity Control
Manual sensitivity runs 1–10, with Auto (level 11) and Auto+ (level 12) options for letting the machine push sensitivity higher automatically when conditions allow.
Light Enough for Long Days
At 2.1 kg (4.6 lb) with the 11" round Monoloop coil, the GPX 6000 is noticeably lighter than earlier GPX-series detectors — a real factor on long days covering ground.
