Camel Desert Fox Gold Panning Machine
Overview of the Desert Fox Spiral Gold Panning Machine
Efficient Gold Recovery System
The DESERT FOX spiral wheel features seven separate spirals, picking up gold seven times per rotation—that’s 105 gold pickups per minute. Each spiral lifts gold into the tube-shaft and into a hanging gold catch-cup. With adjustable pitch and a precise water spray system, the wheel helps operators “tune out” black sand and process up to 70 pounds of concentrates per hour.
How the Desert Fox Operates
Simple Setup
-
Fill the tank with 3 gallons of water
-
Hook the clips to your 12-volt battery (optional)
-
Turn on the switch to activate wheel rotation and the spray bar
Easy Gold Separation
Add a scoop of sand every 20 seconds. Gold settles quickly to the bottom, where the spiral leads lift it to the center hub. It then travels through the hollow shaft and into the gold catch cup. The process is simple and beginner-friendly—you can become an expert within minutes.
Additional Capabilities and Uses
Recovering Precious Stones
Tests show the DESERT FOX can also retrieve high specific gravity gems such as diamonds and sapphires. Material must be screened to uniform size due to lower specific gravity compared to gold.
Variable Speed Performance Features
Spiral Wheel Speed Control
The variable speed option allows the wheel to slow without altering the water flow. This is especially useful in areas with extremely heavy black sand. Slower wheel speed gives more time for the heavy sand to wash out before reaching the tube shaft and gold cup.
Power Requirements
The DESERT FOX is fully self-contained and operates on any small 12-volt battery producing about 4 amps, a standard automotive battery, or even a 35-watt solar panel.
